Does anyone know a way to boost metabolism?

I have been struggling to lose weight by going to the gym, eating health and all. It hasn't worked! I remember that when I was in my twenties, I could eat anything without laboring on the treadmill and wouldn't gain weight. I was told it was because I had better metabolism then. But is there a way to get my normal metabolism back so I can stay fit for another twenty years?

In addition to drinking water when you wake, green tea after every meal aids the body in digesting by allowing the food to pass better as opposed to hardening in the stomach as is common with cold beverages. Combine a better digestive system with the EGCG, a metabolism boosting enzyme found in the tea, and you're golden!

I hear it. Sounds like you are looking for some miracle drugs that can allow you to eat anything and still stay fit. I’ve heard that stem cell may hold the key to renewed metabolism. But again, there may be ethical issues if and when such a treatment does become an option.

The best way to boost metabolism is with diet and exercise. You need to get 30 minutes of exercise each day, and eat 5 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones. Try that for a month and see if it helps. Also, in general, you should reduce the number of carbs and refined sugars you intake.
